Has anyone used the Wych water in their ponds to control algae?
They sell these things in the stores supply pond and it shows you just put it in your pond to help remove the algae and is harmless to plants and fish.
control algae can be done much cheaper and easier. This is just a box that contains barley and carbon. It will work, but if the bullets and barley charcoal from the fish store. That does not blanketweed or filamentous algae. The only thing I found that works with string algae Microbe-Lift PL is. I would not spend money on a plastic box where I could put the charcoal in a pant leg torn and thrown into water. Barley is in its own bag.
