can i add small comet goldfish to 4000 gallon pond before i install the filter?

my pond is going to be ready for fish by thursday, but my filter is not coming in until friday or monday! can i add about 6 feeder fish in the pond to get it going before i add the filter? ( by the way i already have the fish in a separate aquarium and the filter is a tetra pond 4000 pressurized filter with u.v sterilizer.
p.s it is going to be a koi pond but i want to start the pond with goldfish to get it ready for the expensive koi
