Betta Experts, help on tank stocking?
Wednesday, May 19th, 2010I’ve been thinking it over alot, and am going to have one ten gallon divided up 5 ways ,so I can have more than one Betta per tank but would like to know which fish would go nice with a single male halfmoon betta , two of my 2.5 gallon tanks broke leaving two of my female bettas flopping in the gravel, I hehe fished them out and currently both are in old jars that once upon a time I kept pond snails in ,the last one of those died a couple years back anyway:
stocking tips for a ten gallon tank, and don’t say gubbies..I don’t like them that much
would 6 platys work this tank? maybe somemore pond snails? (I REALLY don’t mind the fact that they reproduce like crazy, just means I’ll have a good supply of snackie for my betta girls with the babies)
and if not what about 4 Albino Corys?
the tank is gonna have a heater and be planted would this work?
while the betta one, like I said devided, heater that’s gonna be PAMPERED like crazy for the 5 ,gonna buy 3 more bettas, two male crowntails and a male halfmoon none are gonna be in the same swiming space though, I’m thinking about once getting everything set up taking the remaining 2.5 gallon tank and turning it into a spawning ground for snails would this be a good idea? I kinda like seeing snail shells along the bottom of tanks
I like the website..but neither really answer my questions about the snails….
two SEPERATE ten gallons, and the deviders are colored, can’t see threw them but allow water threw plus I’m adding live plants to hide them as well
