Depth of water in pond with fish over winter?
Monday, July 26th, 2010I’ve got a couple goldfish (3-6 inches) outside in a pond a little less than 3 feet deep with a bubbler/fountain thingy. Up until last week the lights in the water were providing just enough heat to keep all but the top inch from freezing. then the lights broke and now there’s a good foot and a half of ice. Are the fish capable of surving that?
